This retrospective of internationally acclaimed designer Martino Gamper showcases a comprehensive transformation of a historic London residence, providing an immersive exploration of his creative journey. Before, After and Beyond offers visitors an intimate view into Gamper's design ethos, with each room of the house uniquely staged to display his work. Visitors will find a music and games room, study, living and dining space, and bedroom, all meticulously furnished with Gamper’s creations. The exhibition spans the full spectrum of his career, including early experimental pieces, museum projects, industrial products, private commissions, and major new designs. Highlights include reimagined early works and previously unseen pieces crafted using reclaimed materials, as well as found works by renowned designers such as Franco Albini and Paolo Buffa. New designs featured in the exhibition include handblown and cut glass lamps, dining chairs, desks, drinks trolleys, games tables, a backgammon set, freestanding bar, mirrors, and custom library shelving.
